Basic overview of the RP-6 regulator
Safety
Built-in safety valve: detects a drop in pressure after a sudden increase
Safety shut-off: stops the gas supply when the pressure drops or rises above the permitted limit
Permanent closure: in the event of a serious fault, the regulator closes permanently
Materials and construction
All parts are made of durable materials that are not damaged by gas. The main body is made of gray cast iron, the other parts are made of aluminum alloy
Instead of conventional joints, it has a flange connection, which allows for easier and faster assembly and disassembly without the need for pipe modifications.
Has a built-in strainer that catches debris from the pipes
You can mount it in 4 different positions: according to the direction of gas flow – top to bottom, bottom to top, horizontally from the right or left
It does not have prescribed distances from holes in the wall
